Synopsis du film

À la suite d'un massacre dans son monastère, l'Abbé Silas convainc ses géôlières de l'épargner jusqu'au matin où des marchands d'esclaves vikings arrivent pour rassembler un nouveau lot de prisonniers. Elles espèrent ainsi découvrir l'endroit où on été emmenés leurs proches récemment enlevés par ces impitoyables hommes du Nord, qui sont également à la recherche du 'Talisman du Brannock' dont le pouvoir est de transformer tout homme en "créature des arbres"...
